USS Avenger

Welcome to the USS Avenger!

Risk is our business! While other Federation starships are exploring the cosmos, the U.S.S. Avenger is keeping demonstrating the Federation's strength, patrolling the former neutral zone between Federation and Romulan space, investigating and intervening in pirate and smuggler activity, and flexing phantom ship that freighter captains have been telling stories about. Let's solve that mystery!

The Avenger is a Defiant-class starship with a small crew, ideal for storytelling. Our adventures take place in the year 2399 (contemporary with the Star Trek: Picard television series). One episode we may be escorting a high-ranking ambassador on a dangerout mission inside Romulan space and the next we may be taking a fight to marauding pirates. If you're interested, give our roster a look for open positions, and check out our guide to character creation before you start!

Welcome aboard!

With the news that the Avenger's guidance and navigation had returned and that the boarding threat had been neutralized, Gordon felt a resurgence of confidence.

Easy, Paul. That's what got you into this situation to begin with.

"Conn, full impulse power toward the mobile shipyard!" He tapped a communications channel…

Green disruptor blasts illuminated the corridor. A member of the Avenger's damage control team fell to the deck, burn marks singeing his torso.

Through the haze of battle, there were six figures visible. Leading the charge was a sinister-looking Reman, flanked by an Orion and a stout Tellarite. Behind them…

As the doors for the turbo-life hissed open Williamson walked out into the corridor and into a small group of crewmen that nearly ran him over as they rushed past him. He jumped out of the way just in time to hear one of them say sorry as they disappeared…

Mission: The Torpedo Chase

With the news that sensors were back online, Gordon felt the [em]Avenger[/em] was on better footing. Except for not being able to move. A glance over Williamson's shoulder at the conn display showed the ship was still listing out of control.

"Ops, status of guidance and navigation systems repair?"

Mission: The Torpedo Chase
Posted on Fri Jan 22nd, 2021 @ 6:36am by Commander Paul Gordon & Lieutenant JG Melissa Page

The Avenger away team left the cargo bay behind. As they made their way into an adjacent corridor, they passed the unconscious forms of what Forster believed must have been Gerog's hired guns. They were a mixed bag - human, Andorian, Orion, Bolian, Tellarite.

"Lieutenant, you got us out of…

T'Marek was still comatose, but stable. She'd slipped into a natural Vulcan healing sleep, a practise I found odd in any species. Vulnerability versus accelerated healing. My own species may have evolved, might have mostly chosen a vegetarian diet (dear gods, why?), but the heart of a predator still lurked…

I sighed as our small transport shuttle approached the Avenger. The ship was so much smaller than the Cerridwen. Smaller, and not a medical ship. No, she was a sleek, lethal warship of the Defiant-class. I had been reassigned to her because of my skills as an 'intuitive and adaptable'…
